Day 1 Port of Call Amsterdam Arrival 7:00a.m. Departure 9:00p.m.

Overview

Amsterdam is the Netherlands’ capital, known for its artistic heritage, elaborate canal system and narrow houses with gabled facades, legacies of the city’s 17th-century Golden Age. Its Museum District houses the Van Gogh Museum, works by Rembrandt and Vermeer at the Rijksmuseum, and modern art at the Stedelijk. Cycling is key to the city’s character, and there are numerous bike paths.

Day 2 Cruising
Day 3 Port of Call Edinburgh/Newhaven Arrival 6:00a.m. Departure 7:00p.m.

Overview

Edinburgh is Scotland's compact, hilly capital. It has a medieval Old Town and elegant Georgian New Town with gardens and neoclassical buildings. Looming over the city is Edinburgh Castle, home to Scotland’s crown jewels and the Stone of Destiny, used in the coronation of Scottish rulers. Arthur’s Seat is an imposing peak in Holyrood Park with sweeping views, and Calton Hill is topped with monuments and memorials.

Day 4 Port of Call Invergordon Arrival 8:30a.m. Departure 5:30p.m.

Overview

Invergordon is a town whose history stretches back through two World Wars and has now developed into a centre for oilrig refurbishment and maintenance. It is also a major port of call for cruise liners, being the only deep water port in the area, 40 liners, with 21,000 visitors from all over the world, berthed in 2004. Ideally situated in the centre of the eastern Highlands, the town's High Street has recently been given a face lift with coloured granite blocks, speed controllers, a new restaurant and a mural has been painted on the Albyn Housing building. There are many places to eat, providing quick take-away food right through to a quality country house hotel and restaurant just inland from the town, Indian and Chinese food is also available as an alternative to the more traditional fayre. There is an Arts Centre, a Leisure and Sports Club, with swimming pool and an 18 hole golf course on the outskirts of town.

Day 5 Port of Call Ullapool Arrival 7:30a.m. Departure 4:30p.m.

Overview

Ullapool is full of souvenir/craft shops, guest houses and hotels, it bustles all day long in summertime with people arriving off the ferry from Stornoway on Lewis or waiting for the next one. The town has a leisure centre with sports facilities and swimming pool, library, grocery shop, butcher's shop, chemist's (pharmacy/drug store), Safeway supermarket, post office and petrol stations. There is a branch of the Royal Bank of Scotland here too. Ullapool is a great centre for hillwalking (see below) and it's an ideal base for touring the beautiful landscape of the north-west Highlands. You might be able to spot some deer around here. Golf course - 9 holes split over the shores of Loch Broom and Ullapool River (telephone 01854 613 323). Tennis courts too. Founded by the British Fisheries Society in 1788, the town now sees more Eastern European factory ships than Scottish herring boats. The Ullapool Museum in the old church in West Argyle Street won the Scottish Museum of the Year award for 1996. The church was restored in 1995 and now has an audio-visual display about the local area and people with a commentary available in several languages. Some of the historical material which illustrates all aspects of Highland life came from the exhibition organised for the town's bicentenary in 1988. This includes old books, ships ledgers and records detailing the emigrants who set off for Canada and New Zealand.

Day 6 Port of Call Belfast Arrival 9:30a.m. Departure 8:30p.m.

Overview

Belfast offers the buzz and vibrancy of a capital city whilst being a gateway to the rural retreat of Northern Ireland. At the head of Belfast Lough, the city is compact and easy to get around, whether by car or on foot. Like all capital cities, Belfast offers a wide range of accommodation to suit all pockets, from cosy B&Bs around the university, to well appointed riverside self-catering establishments, to city centre boutique hotels.
Belfast is teeming with a multitude of stylish bars, gourmet restaurants, trendy clubs and some of the best shopping in the UK. Visitors can enjoy traditional Irish music in a local pub or dance the night away to the latest vibes – the choice is yours!
The birthplace of the Titanic, Belfast’s industrial heritage has shaped a city steeped in culture, portrayed at its best at the Ulster Museum, City Hall, the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum and the many buildings still standing. The many parks, gardens and galleries offer a perfect haven to relax.
Within a couple of hours of Belfast, visitors can marvel at the Giant’s Causeway, walk the Mountains of Mourne, fish in Fermanagh or visit the many picturesque villages in Northern Ireland - a perfect location to discover the rest of Northern Ireland!

Day 7 Dun Laoghaire Arrival 8:00a.m. Departure 10:00p.m.
Day 8 Port of Call Holyhead Arrival 8:00a.m. Departure 6:00p.m.

Overview

Holyhead is the largest town on the island of Anglesey and is perhaps known best for being a busy ferry port. However, visitors should also note that the town has a number of interesting attractions and is a bustling shopping and visitors area in its own right. The town centre offers a number of good places to eat, a theatre and a cinema. There are a range of places for the visitor to stay and Holyhead is often used as an overnight stop on the way to, or from, holidaying in Ireland or as a centre for touring the island of Anglesey itself. Around Holyhead there is excellent fishing, golfing and,of course, sailing facilities. Couple this with the wonderful scenery, walks and beaches and visitors can easily relax for a few days. From Anglesey, ferries operate to Dublin with the superfast ferry only taking 99 minutes to complete the single journey. A day trip to sample the wonderful Dublin is easily achievable and is far cheaper that you think. History buffs will be well pleased to know Anglesey has a number of both historic and prehistoric sites close-by, including burial chambers at Barcloddiad Yr Gawres and a church in the sea at Porth Cwyfan! Llys Rhosyr, the site of one of the most powerful and charismatic Welsh mediaeval princes has been discovered near the village of Newborough, on the South Western corner of the island. The maritime museum in Holyhead is well worth a visit where tourists can learn more about the 100 shipwrecks that have taken place in the vicinity .

Day 9 Port of Call Cork Arrival 7:00a.m. Departure 5:00p.m.

Overview

Cork City is Ireland's third city (after Dublin and Belfast) and has always been an important seaport. It began on an island in the swampy estuary of the River Lee (the name Corcaigh means a marsh), and gradually climbed up the steep banks on either side. Today the river flows through Cork city in two main channels, so that you find yourself constantly crossing bridges. Some of the main streets are built over channels where ships nuzzled their anchor-chains a century ago. Along the South Mall, you will see large gateways at street level, under steps leading to a higher main door. These were once boathouses, when merchants arrived at their warehouses by water. As the hilly streets go up and down, so do the voices of the citizens. They have a characteristic sing-song cadence, beloved of national comedians, and Corkonians are regarded as the most talkative of all the Irish. St. Finbarr is the founder and patron saint. He founded a monastery in the seventh century where St. Finn Barre's Cathedral now stands, and it grew into an extensive and wealthy establishment. It attracted the attention of the Viking sea-pirates who raided and burned the infant city, but returned in later years to settle and trade. The Anglo-Norman invasion in 1172 resulted in both the Danish lords and local McCarthy chiefs having to submit to Henry II, but Cork has always had a reputation for independence and stubborn resistance: it came to be known as "Rebel Cork".

Day 10 Port of Call Falmouth/England Arrival 7:00a.m. Departure 5:00p.m.

Overview

For year round relaxation and recreation, Falmouth has a tradition of genuine hospitality founded on its centuries old port and superb location at the southern end of the Fal Estuary - arguably Britain's most beautiful network of creeks and rivers. Blessed with excellent sandy bathing beaches and a vibrant town, Falmouth can offer you contrasts, convenience and choice in making the most of your holiday. Falmouth has an impressive record of excellence in tourism. Generations of investment, from the first custom built tourist hotel in 1865, to the imposing Ships & Castles Leisure Pool of today, makes Falmouth proud to welcome you! With one of the world's deepest natural harbours, today's Falmouth is fast developing its international reputation as one of the great sailing and watersports centres of the world. Every year new accolades are added to its impressive list of international sailing events. With marina facilities for the yachtsman and quays for visiting cruise liners, Falmouth is never short of interest and spectacle for the visitor. The Fal Estuary's deep water and sheltered anchorage have been of strategic importance to the defence of Britain since Tudor times. Any enemy securing the Estuary could easily land an army and bring in fresh supplies of food, weapons and soldiers. Henry VIII recognised this threat and built Pendennis and St Mawes Castles on opposite sides of the Estuary to protect the anchorage. Thus began one of the most fascinating stories of British Coastal defence spanning 450 years. Pendennis Castle is a showpiece of British History and one of Falmouth's gems. Built in the mid-sixteenth century, Pendennis overlooks the mile-wide mouth of the River Fal, at the most westerly point where it was possible to anchor safely. It is difficult to imagine today, when visiting this popular holiday area of Cornwall, how wild and remote this beautiful part of the coast used to be. But the massive walls, rambling rooms and stone staircases of Pendennis make it easy to imagine the scenes of bloody conflict 350 years ago. An exhibition in the old gun room helps you experience almost at first hand the sights and sounds of a Tudor battle. And there are artefacts from the Second World War, when Pendennis was again called into action. In Victorian times, Falmouth's world-wide links across the sea led to the development of public gardens containing wonderful collections of exotic plants. Owing to a year-round mild climate, plants such as Citrus, Daturas, Dracaena palms, Camellias, Abutious, Azaleas, Rohododendrons and many unusual species of Bamboo, still thrive today. At Fox Rosehill Gardens for example, Banana trees grow in the open! In addition to Falmouth's four main gardens of Gyllyndune, Kinberley Park, Fox Rosehill and Queen Mary, the vast gardens of Trelissick, Glendurgan and Trebah are all within easy reach of the town. Falmouth's town centre contains many of the expected high street shopping names, alongside restaurants and specialist shops with great maritime charm. Laced with many notable and unusual listed buildings (like the King's Pipe which was used to burn contraband tobacco in the days of old style smuggling), the town has a reassuring warmth and contains a surprising range of opportunities. The Falmouth Arts Centre, The Cornwall Maritime Museum (where the story of the famous Falmouth Packet shops is explained), and the Falmouth Art Gallery (with its renowned collection of Tuke paintings), complimented by the Princess Pavillion, together providing a comprehensive programme of exhibitions, concerts and theatrical events throughout the year. Touring groups, local, national and international performers and artists will all be found at Falmouth. Falmouth has four superb beaches: Gyllynvase, Castle, Swanpool and Maenporth. Each offers well managed facilities catering for both the active and the not so active beach afficionado. Alternatively, why not step aboard one of the many excellent pleasure boats plying the local waters of Falmouth and fully experience the maritime charm of this most beautiful part of Cornwall.

Day 11 Port of Call Southampton Arrival 7:00a.m. Departure 5:00p.m.

Overview

Southampton is a port city on England’s south coast. It’s home to the SeaCity Museum, with an interactive model of the Titanic, which departed from Southampton in 1912. Nearby, Southampton City Art Gallery specialises in modern British art. Solent Sky Museum features vintage aircraft like the iconic Spitfire. Tudor House & Garden displays artifacts covering over 800 years of history, including a penny-farthing bike.

Dining

Compass Rose

Specialty Dining

Compass Rose: Much thought was given to the design of Compass Rose, the flagship restaurant of Regent Seven Seas fleet. The dining room is outfitted with rich woods contrasted by light marble stones and mother of pearl shimmering brightly with an elegant color theme of light shades of blue, white, gold and silver. Compass Rose delights with a beautifully defined atmosphere and transitions from refreshing natural light during the day to a romantic ice blue lighting theme at night. This is the perfect setting for you to enjoy your breakfast, lunch and dinner, where the menu features an exceptional variety of Continental cuisine.

Prime 7: A true classic in every sense, Prime 7 sets a new standard in steakhouse fare with its contemporary interpretation of an American favorite. Handsomely decorated with supple leather wing-back chairs, burnished woods and rich earth-toned fabrics, Prime 7 exudes a distinct, intimate elegance. All the traditional starters are here, including Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes, Classic Steak Tartare, and Clam Chowder. Of course, beef is the undisputed star, and it is all USDA Prime and Dry-Aged at least 28 days to ensure the ultimate tenderness, juiciness and flavor. Prime New York Strip, Porterhouse Steak and succulent Filet Mignon only touch upon the selections. Mouthwatering alternatives include Alaskan King Crab Legs and Dover Sole. Prime 7 is open for dinner only and reservations are required.

Sette Mari at La Veranda: Each evening, La Veranda transforms into Sette Mari at La Veranda, a casual, intimate dining experience. Enjoy an extensive menu of authentic antipasti and Italian specialties served á la carte and paired with fine Italian wines — complimentary of course. Delectable dishes are prepared á la minute by talented chefs using only the freshest gourmet ingredients and served by attentive waiters. Sette Mari at La Veranda is open for dinner only.

Pool Grill

Casual Dining

La Veranda Restaurant: Take in stunning ocean views while enjoying elegant breakfast and lunch buffets in the chic indoor dining room or al fresco on the shaded, open-air deck. Breakfasts include traditional favorites, as well as a made-to-order omelet station, a variety of fresh fruits and pastries, along with daily specials, like fluffy Belgian waffles with fresh blueberry compote. For lunch indulge in an array of choices from a bountiful salad bar, gourmet sandwiches, hot carving stations and delicious desserts.

Pool Grill: The Pool Grill is open-air, yet abundantly shaded for comfortable dining. Enjoy grilled-to-order burgers, grilled seafood, sandwiches, and fresh salads. Treat yourself to milkshakes and malts or an old-fashioned hand-dipped ice cream dessert sprinkled with all your favorite toppings.

Room Service: Complimentary 24-hour dining in the comfort of your stateroom.
