With Universal’s highly anticipated Epic Universe opening on May 22, 2025, guests will be able to experience five, immersive themed worlds: Celestial Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ - Ministry of Magic™, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD™, How to Train Your Dragon - Isle of Berk, and Dark Universe.
Each world will offer several innovative experiences, unlike anything Universal Orlando Resort has done before. Without further adieu, here is your guide to Universal Epic Universe.
Step into an oasis of lush greenery and dancing fountains. From roller coaster thrills to otherworldly taste sensations, Celestial Park is a cosmic journey of shared discoveries for everyone.
Celestial Park - Stellar Attractions
Serving as the epicenter for Epic Universe, Celestial Park is a thrilling journey through the cosmos. Guests will begin their Epic Universe adventure by entering an oasis of stunning waterfalls and immaculately landscaped gardens. Here guests will find Stardust Racers, an exciting new dual-launch racing coaster reaching speeds of up to 62 mph and heights of up to 133 feet. This thrilling attraction really comes to life after sunset when the illuminated ride vehicles streak through the night sky like blazing comets. In addition to several unique shopping opportunities, Celestial Park is home to two full-service restaurants. Atlantic offers an undersea culinary experience where guests can indulge in exceptionally prepared steak and seafood (including sea bass). The Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant allows guests to traverse Asia on a culinary expedition where they’ll enjoy such comfort foods as Tonkotsu Ramen and potstickers. Celestial Park is also home to several quick-service restaurants serving theme park staples such as pizza, hot dogs, and ice cream.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ has proven to be one of Universal's most popular park experiences, and Epic Universe will provide new thrills in that realm. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ - Ministry of Magic™ will have guests exploring 1920s Paris, like Newt Scamander himself from the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them series, as well as rejoining the trio of Harry, Ron and Hermione in the 1990s to take on one of that series' most notorious villains. In addition to the shopping and dining in wizarding Paris and new entertainment inspired by the many magical creatures of the wizarding world, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ - Ministry of Magic™ will also provide new interactive wand experiences (which are a fan-favorite activity at Universal). With the addition of new characters and the return of old favorites, guests can experience The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ like never before.

SUPER NINTENDO WORLD™ – A New Way to Play
At SUPER NINTENDO WORLD™, guests can experience many of their favorite video game characters like never before. On Mario Kart™: Bowser's Challenge, guests will put on special goggles and steer through iconic courses alongside Mario, Luigi, and Princess Peach. In this interactive ride guests will collect digital coins and throw shells to try to defeat Team Bowser and win the Golden Cup. With multiple outcomes, it's a different experience each time guests ride. Yoshi's Adventure™ invites guests to take a ride with Yoshis and search for glowing eggs. This wholesome attraction is sure to delight the entire family as well as provide some spectacular views of the colorful Mushroom Kingdom landscapes. After exploring the Mushroom Kingdom, guests can enter Donkey Kong Country™, where they can experience Mine-Cart Madness™.
On Mine-Cart Madness™, it's up to guests to help Donkey Kong protect the Golden Banana. They will enter the majestic Golden Temple, board their mine cart and take off in this thrilling family coaster. Speeding through the mine, guests will appear to jump across gaps in the track and perform other eye-popping feats from the Donkey Kong Country™ video games.
In addition to several themed shopping and dining experiences in this world, guests can say hello and pose for photos with some of their favorite characters. They can also boost their fun with a Power-Up Band™, which enables guests to win keys in interactive activities, collect digital coins and digital stamps, track their score, check rankings, and more throughout SUPER NINTENDO WORLD™.

How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk: Taking Flight
Fans of Dreamwork’s How to Train Your Dragon series won’t believe their eyes, as they step into the Isle of Berk. Here, Vikings and Dragons coexist peacefully, and guests will be able to get in some training with both factions alike. Hiccup’s Wing Gliders offers a family coaster experience as well as stunning views of the entire Isle of Berk.
Young Vikings can explore the Viking Training Camp, a multisensory playscape where they will climb, slide and explore alongside their favorite dragons. For those ready to prove their prowess as a Viking, Fyre Drill offers another interactive multiplayer experience. Guests will compete for bragging rights (and who can leave the attraction the most dry). Older Vikings looking for a more thrilling experience can enjoy Dragon Racer’s Rally, where they’ll perform daring aerial acrobatics in their quest for the Dragon Racer’s Championship. In addition to old favorites, Isle of Berk will introduce new exciting characters in the stage show, The Untrainable Dragon. I was fortunate enough to see the How To Train Your Dragon Live Spectacular years and years ago, and it was an unforgettable experience. To this day, it remains one of the most technologically impressive live shows I have ever seen.
