Overview
Seville draws attention for its numerous attractions. It pays homage to flamenco, a lively storytelling dance accompanied by guitar. In the heart of Seville is the Plaza de España, with a canal neighboring María Luisa Park and sculptures decorated in mosaic blue and yellow azulejo tiles. The largest Gothic cathedral in the world is the Cathedral of Seville, which preserves artwork and is where Christopher Columbus was entombed. The Giralda, or bell tower of the cathedral, offers exceptional views of the city outside, and orange trees offer a sweet fragrance. Torre del Oro (Tower of Gold, originally covered in gold tiles) is a watchtower on the banks of the Guadalquivir River. Near the Torre, you will find the Plaza de Toros de la Maestranza, a legendary bullfighting ring. There is something for everyone here!
