Hotel Description
Spotlighting a beautiful collection of Hawaiian artifacts, and featuring a national historic landmark on its grounds (Ahuena Heiau), this hotel is situated on the site where King Kamehameha the Great once resided and ruled. Guest amenities include paddle boarding, surfing, swimming and snorkeling on the white, sandy beach. The hotel is located close to the airport and within walking distance of the Kona Pier. Thanks to its central location, the hotel often features local and international events, and has served as the headquarter hotel for the IRONMAN World Championship Triathlon, the Hawaii International Billfish Tournament, and the Queen Liliuokalani Canoe Races.
For additional convenient access to town, there’s a Kona-Keauhou trolley stop at the hotel. Hotel features include indoor shopping, indoor and outdoor dining, an activities desk, an on-site luau and Kailua-Kona's only beach access.
