Overview

Located in west-central Italy on the Ligurian and Tyrrhenian Seas, Tuscany is composed of 10 provinces: Arezzo, Florence, Grosseto, Livorno, Lucca, Massa-Carrara, Pisa, Pistoia, Prato and Siena. The cities are full of cultural heritage, architectural marvels and home to many renowned artists, such as Michelangelo, Filippo Brunelleschi and Giovanni Boccaccio, whose work remains here. The countryside offers stunning landscapes made up of golden wheat fields, distinctive cypress rows, olive groves, vineyards and quaint hilltop villages. In the summertime, watch as the rolling hills bloom vibrant with sunflowers.
